Agnes Water

Agnes water is a small town twinned with 1770, which gets its name after James Cook landing in the area. I had heard of cheap surf lessons available there which would save me money down the coast. I had 2 introductory surf lessons over 2 days for $17 and $22. Over both lessons I rode a foam surf board, learnt to catch waves and stand up on a board! DSCF6473

 

One afternoon I visited a Kangaroo sanctuary. Thelooked after orphaned joeys and it gave us a chance to feed and pet the kangaroos. Not somethingyou expect to do everyday.
